CHICAGO, Ill., October 9, 2008 – DuPont Danisco Cellulosic Ethanol LLC (DDCE) has selected Itasca, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, as its global headquarters location. Itasca offers proximity to a major metropolis with an international airport hub and to the U.S. Corn Belt, a growth area for the nation’s fuel ethanol infrastructure.
DDCE also named members of its management team:
Joseph Skurla, President & CEO
Georg Anderl, Vice President, Engineering
Vonnie Estes, Vice President, Business Development
Jack Huttner, Vice President, Commercial and Public Affairs
DDCE is currently conducting a national search to fill positions for CFO and additional technical and business managers.
DDCE is developing an integrated cellulosic technology package and building a pilot scale facility in Vonore, Tennessee, through a partnership with Genera Energy and the Tennessee Biofuels Initiative. There will be a groundbreaking ceremony for the pilot plant on October 14.
